ABOUT THE ARTIST

Japanese violinist Airi Suzuki has gained international recognition since her debut at Suntory Hall in Tokyo and numerous competition awards. She won second prize at the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań, and was also among the laureates at the Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover and the Valsesia Musica Competition in Italy. Since 2017, she has gained orchestral experience during a temporary engagement as deputy concertmaster of the NDR Radiophilharmonie, after which she became a permanent member of the first violin section. Since 2024, she has been deputy concertmaster of the Munich Radio Orchestra.

Cellist Kajana Pačko is one of the most prominent and versatile Croatian musicians of her generation. As a soloist and chamber musician, she regularly performs in leading European concert halls. As a guest member of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, she has collaborated with Sir Simon Rattle, Gustav Dudamel, Andris Nelsons, Daniel Harding and Paavo Järvi, and in the 2024/2025 season she performed with the Gewandhaus Orchestra. She is dedicated to contemporary music and is commissioning new works for solo cello as part of the BACH+ project. Her discography includes the albums Journey through Europe (2014) and an album with works by Schumann, Brahms, Dohnányi and Maček (2018), recorded with pianist Danijela Detoni. She plays the cello "l'école dePique", made in Paris around 1800.

Boris Kusnezow is one of the most sought-after pianist-collaborators of his generation. He performs with distinguished instrumentalists and singers all over the world. His performances have taken him to such renowned concert halls as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Wigmore Hall in London and the Berlin Philharmonic. Several of his recordings have been nominated for prestigious awards, including the Opus Klassik and the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik . Recent engagements include the ARD Competition in Munich, the Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover, the International Violin Competition in Stuttgart and the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels.
