The Dudok Quartet Amsterdam has earned a reputation as one of the most creative and versatile quartets of its generation. With its principle of "sharing the heart of music", the Quartet believes that chamber music is an act of friendship and play that needs to be shared directly with the audience, and is committed to creating unique and eclectic programs that engage listeners in new and imaginative ways. In a repertoire that ranges from Ligeti, Shostakovich and Bacewicz to Mendelssohn, Mozart and Beethoven, the Dudok Quartet is constantly creating new paths and connections in music. The quartet performs on instruments on generous loan from the Dutch Foundation for Musical Instruments (NMF): violins by Francesco Goffriller and Vincenzo Panormo, viola by Jean Baptiste Lefèbvre and cello by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume.
