The Acoustic Project Strings ensemble was founded in 2016 and stemmed from the already renowned formation of the Acoustic Project ensemble, which has been operating since 2008. It is created by the collaboration of composer and double bass player Dubravko Palanović as the initiator and leader of the ensemble, and violinist Marco Graziani as a concertmaster. In addition to the standard repertoire of string orchestras, the ensemble also focuses on program and performance innovations, which is accompanied by experimentation with various styles and epochs, as well as the presentation of new works by Croatian and foreign authors. Members of the ensemble are established musicians who, in addition to creative, give strong interpretive energy to the project. Members of the ensemble are: Marco Graziani, concertmaster, Zvonimir Krpan, Alina Gubajdullina, Davide Albanese (violins I); Val Bakrač, Ivo Jukić, Teodora Sucala Matei (violins II); Aleksandar Jakopanec, Lucija Brnadić (violas); Petar Kovačić, Oliver Đorđević (cellos); Dubravko Palanović (double bass).

The versatile Dani Bošnjak is one of the most sought-after Croatian flute players. As a soloist, member of various chamber ensembles and a long-time member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, he has performed on five continents, from Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He has premiered numerous works by Croatian composers, some of which are on CDs Canto Peregrino (2014) and Fabliau (2021) published by Cantus. Dani Bošnjak plays on Alfred Verhoef wooden flutes, handmade on order.
